Cyber Security Awareness Training Program-Successfully Conducted
In line with RBI guidelines under the Basic and Comprehensive Cyber Security Framework for Primary (Urban) Cooperative Banks (Circular Ref. No. RBI/2018-19/63 dated 19th October 2018 and RBI/2019-20/129 dated 31st December 2019), Vasai Vikas Sahakari Bank Ltd. successfully conducted a Mandatory Cyber Security Awareness Training Program on Saturday, 26 July 2025 at Devtalav Society Hall, Vasai West, Palghar.
The program witnessed active participation from all Board Members, Executives, HODs, and Bank staff members.

Special Addresses- Shri Ashay Raut, Chairman- Vasai Vikas Sahakari Bank, emphasized the importance of continuous learning and vigilance in today’s digital era. He stated that “Cyber Security is not just a regulatory requirement, but a shared responsibility of every member of the Bank to protect customer assets, trust, and data integrity.”
Shri Dilip Y. Thakur, CEO Vasai Vikas Sahakari Bank Ltd , highlighted the Bank’s proactive approach towards adopting robust IT security practices. He remarked that “with digital transformation, threats too are evolving rapidly. Our commitment is to remain ahead of these challenges by ensuring regular training, strong governance, and customer awareness initiatives.”
This program has strengthened our cyber vigilance, enhanced understanding of emerging threats, and reinforced our commitment to safeguarding customer trust while ensuring compliance with RBI mandated practices.
