Safety Tips

Simple precautions can help you to protect your bank accounts and losing your hard earned money. A small list of safeguards is provided below :

1. Destroy the PIN (Personal Identification Number) mailer communication after memorizing the PIN.

2. It is advisable to change PIN frequently.

3. Periodically verify the passbook/statement entries to ensure its correctness. Any unauthorized card transaction in the account if observed, should be immediately reported to the Bank.

4. Ensure your current mobile number is registered with the bank so that you can get all your transaction alerts.

5. Check the transaction SMS alert regularly.

6. Some of the ATM acquirers charge additional transaction fees for using their ATM. Please check this before usage

7. If your ATM / Debit card is lost or stolen or to block your ATM / Debit card, give a missed call on 9212130303 from your registered mobile number.

8. To report dispute / unauthorized transactions, you are requested to submit Cardholder Complaint/Dispute Form to your home branch.

9. In case if you wish to restore / replace your card, please approach your home branch with appropriate application along with ID proof.

10. For your safety, the Debit Card transaction will be successful on any PoS only after entering your 4 digit PIN. For online transaction at e-commerce websites, OTP will be your additional security which is sent to you on your registered mobile number.

11. Bank will never ask for any details like ATM / Debit card number, ATM PIN, CVV number printed on the reverse of the card etc. Therefore, never respond / reply to phone calls / e-mails asking for such confidential information, even if it seems as having originated from the bank.
